So excited to share this mural project from over the summer! I had a beautiful opportunity to paint Kelly’s house built in 1900. Kelly gave me full creative freedom with an agreed upon color palette that we chose together. He knew where he wanted the placement of the mural and the furniture was set so I created around the existing set up of the living room. 🌿 I’m inspired by the energy in lived-in spaces. I use the feelings/emotions in the presence of each space to create. All this to say: dream client and dream project! 🤩 The talented @zachdelvalle was able to grab these awesome photos!! 📸 I’m so grateful for the opportunity to paint large scale! And for amazing friends who support my art/take photos of it! (You should see the photos I got myself 💀) This project in particular has felt so important in reigniting my love for painting. It never left, but tattooing has been such a focus for my art/life for the past 6 years that painting has taken a little spot on the back burner. This season I’ll be taking more painting commissions/selling art and would love to do more murals!
