Dragon’s Blood 🇦🇺. The growth habit on this plant is UNREAL. Absolutely massive as you can see in the subsequent photos in this post. Just keeps getting bigger and better. I am fully head over heels for this plant for so many reasons. I did not pinch this variety, I do not have it staked, and you can see in the last photo how nicely it has branched at the base. Plus stems on stems on stems, bloom after bloom after bloom. It was one of my first to bloom this season as well and it pushed many blooms at the same time, straight out the gate. It has been completely packed all season. This plant is the definition of vigorous. Not stingy at all in any department so far. We’re now entering seed production stage for most of our plants here so we will see how well it does with that in the coming months, as well as tuber production, but I am thoroughly impressed by Dragon’s Blood and very, very encouraged & excited about its addition to our fields. . #dahliaseason #dahliaflowers #redflowers #dahliasfordays #dahlialove #fallflowers #dahliatubers
