Today is a good day! But a hard day....
We made it a year with no seizures!! Minka's epilepsy was such a struggle for 4 years, worsening as time progressed. After 3 days of seizures last December I decided to try another option beyond the traditional medicine. I took her off of her dog food and have made her food ever since. It worked! I doubt it is perfect but she is healthy, crazy, content and not seizing. We celebrate this day ( I promised her if she made it to a year she can have *dog* hot cocoa...which is on the agenda) Also taking some time to mourn one of my favoritest things ever, as it was Lenni's last day before he was abruptly taken from me (thats the last pic I took of him sleeping)
