I tattooed this on my dad on a recent trip he made to Chicago.

My brother, Kyle, lived in Oakland, California with his family and whenever my dad visited they always found time to visit @oaklandbonsaigarden , which sparked my dad’s love and interest in bonsai cultivation.
When Kyle passed away in 2023, we had his body composted @recomposelife . When my dad begins or repots a bonsai, he always places a little bit of Kyle’s soil in each pot.
So very honored to do this tattoo for him, and also still so saddened it is even a tattoo that had to be done.
