December is often called the month of giving, but not every gift comes with a bow. Sometimes it’s a gesture. Sometimes it’s a moment. Sometimes it’s simply being able to do what you love. This is my first Christmas in New York, far from Valencia, but grateful for my family and for the life I’m building here in NY. Specially with @nauges_media by my side and now with @im_not_velazquez I feel lucky to have tattooed all year long. I hear a lot of noise out there ,complaints, repetition , but I choose to listen to my own voice and act with respect, as I was taught. Christmas feels like consumerism/comparison to me. But if it helps us pause and realize how fortunate we are , to be here, to read this, to have what we have, then it’s enough. If this made you feel even a little grateful, that’s more than enough for me.
