To my Perpetual Roots Ohana!
I want to take a moment to genuinely thank each and every one of you for your support, trust, and loyalty over the years. As many of you know, I’ve been a tattoo artist for over 25 years, and it’s been more than just a profession — it’s been a passion and a part of my life’s journey.
Recently, I’ve faced some unexpected and difficult health challenges. I was diagnosed with stage 5 chronic kidney disease and am currently on dialysis three times a week. I also underwent surgery that unfortunately didn’t go as planned, resulting in nerve damage and a numb hand. This has made it incredibly hard to work, and I’ve been in and out of the hospital over the past few months. These setbacks have not only affected my ability to work but have also added a lot of stress and anxiety during an already tough time.
Despite my efforts to keep going, I’ve exhausted all my resources, and the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. I’m reaching out today with humility and hope — I’ve created a GoFundMe to help cover medical expenses, bills, and everyday needs.
I have included the GoFundMe link in my bio.
If you’re able to support in any way — whether through a donation, sharing my story, or simply sending your love and prayers — it would mean the world to me. Your support has always meant everything to me, and I’m truly grateful for the community that has stood by my side all these years.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, understanding, and support during this difficult time. I love you all and am hopeful for brighter days ahead.
With gratitude and love,
Keoki
