Thanks to everyone who reached out during the Tukwila/Renton/Kent flash flood warning yesterday. It means the world to us ❤️ The studio is totally fine. Although we were suuuper close to the red zone, luckily our location landed right outside of the border. They’ve temporarily repaired the levee, & it’s holding, so the flood warning level & areas of possible impact were reduced last night. Luckily the Cedar River has receded by MANY feet in Downtown Renton over the last few days, & hopefully it continues to do so before the 2nd storm hits. AND luckily the studio has a few feet of ground clearance if this new storm changes things🤘🏼Worst case… I have a canoe & I’m not afraid to use it 😆🛶 That being said, the next rainfall has begun, & many are still experiencing travel issues, road closures, & flash flood warnings in other areas. Most of us have concerns as we brace for the next storm as well. If things change over the next few days & it’s deemed unsafe for you to travel, please let your artist know asap, & your artist will do the same.
