I’m sorry that I have to do this every so often, but I try to be completely transparent with my clients, and yet, there are still some who just don’t understand how it works. When you give me your deposit you are saying that you are serious about my time, at that point, I am now responsible for your appointment. Every conversation,every change of schedule,every update, every note about your new design all factors in and these things all take time out of my day and away from other clients. If you cancel the appointment, the deposit is gone forever. The ONLY way a deposit will ever get returned is if I cancel the appointment. Once the appointment has been canceled you are erased from my calendar and a new deposit will be required if I am to schedule you another spot. Some people will not get another spot depending on their behavior.
