Keeping going on Kevin’s body suit… most tattooers, when they say freehand, already have a design prepared. they redraw what they’ve done on paper, directly onto the skin, which is fantastic. i don’t work like that . i don’t come with a concept at all. i start from nothing or if it’s an animal, I just chose a picture and go from that on my own but never draw on paper any designs before. i talk with the client, and i draw straight on the body in that moment. it’s a creation that only exists because of the encounter and the instant we share.
